Note from our founder, Anna Mathur.
‘As a psychotherapist and mum to three I am rarely ever seen without a gold-vermeil necklace! I am a magpie for simple, stunning, demi-fine pieces.
My hands are never not-busy, playing or touching something.I find myself twisting rings and circling the edges of pendants when thinking, overwhelmed, bored, anxious or energised.Whilst much of my jewelry naturally lends itself to being played with, as we all often find ourselves doing so, I dreamed up a couple of pieces that were designed to offer a richer grounding, sensory experience.
You’ll find sterling silver beading to run your finger tips over, cutout stars that when gently pinched create an impression on your thumb, a mixture of smooth and softly textured surfaces to glide your fingers over.
I am diagnosed with ADHD and my son autistic. Whilst he has an array of fidget toys, I wanted to create something beautiful for busy minds and hands. Since receiving the prototypes in April 2024, I’ve barely taken them off. My kids reach for my pendant absentmindedly whilst cuddled on my lap, I find my fingers seeking it as my mind searches for words to write as I work. It has been a gift to me and I have been excited to share it with you.'
